A first-week experience for high school ELA, straight from my Bronx classroom. Students silently read a wall of street-art posters, discuss what moved them, create their own poster or identity map, and write about the choices they made. By the end of the week, you’ll hold standards-aligned baseline evidence of a few ELA skills.
